Militaire

My favourite colour combination this winter has been black army green, with gold accents. I love that olive green is so versatile and it can be dressed up or worn simply casual.

Metallic Leopard

Animal prints are back in play, not that they ever really left, in my opinion. Leopard prints have always been a staple in my closet and the collection just keeps growing. Accessorizing with gold metal accents and spikes gives the look a modern edge.

2013 Paris Spring Couture

The 2013 Paris couture shows always showcase opulent and ultra chic designs that bring fantasies to life. The spring shows featured feminine palettes & silhouettes, floral appliqués and lace. These delicate details and soft texture evoke a subtle sex appeal. These are my favourite looks from this weeks shows.

Pantone 2013 Colour of the Year

The 2013 Pantone colour of the year is emerald green. The colour green represents nature and tends to have a calming tranquil effect. This fresh shade of emerald green can easily be incorporated into your wardrobe or home decor.

Winter Fresh

The month of January brings about freshness and optimism for the year ahead. All this positive energy makes me want to dress anything but dark and drab. A pop of colour can always put a smile on my face, even in lieu of sunlight. So dont pack away your pastels this winter, as they can add subtle hints of colour to brighten a cold day.
